Assignment 2, Elsevier: "Introduction to Mentoring and the Mentor Training Program"

• • This is the first of seven online self-paced courses you will take through the Elsevier learning management system.

  • This course discusses what a mentor is and introduces you to some of the mentoring assignments you will complete during the program.

  • You must complete this course before Class 1.

  • Allow 10-20 minutes for this course. During the course, you will watch a video so you may wish to have headphones handy. You should be able to view this course easily on your phone after you log in. To pass the course, you just need to complete 100% of it. There is no quiz prior to or at the end of the course.

  • You will need to disable your internet browser’s “pop-up blocker” to view the course. 

  • Follow instructions in your email for accessing the Elsevier system.
